Jacked up Hillary video…

I just watched a video you yahoo talking about how Hillary Clinton is not giving up even after the voting is all over. Then in the middle of the video they show a clip where she says “who will be the best president” (or something of that nature)…

What they don’t show you is what she said right before that… where she leads into a thank you to all democrats for coming out to vote over the last few months to answer such questions as “who will be the best president”…

Man I hate the main stream media. They can never just give you straight information. They have to “spin” it into something that it’s really not.

Kimbo Slice is going to get his ass handed to him

Never heard of Kimbo Slice? Do a Google or video search.

Now that you know a little more about our main man Kimbo… I have to say I for one like this cat. I think he will draw huge crowds everywhere he fights. Well, at least for a little while. Until he gets his ass handed to him on a silver platter.

Here is currently 3 and 0. And the fight tonight put things in perspective a little.

He can knock the sh!t out of someone. I watched his opponents lights twinkle a few times tonight. But once he we put on the mat you realize he has somethings to learn. If he was in the UFC he would be killed and laughed out of the octagon.

Again, let me say… I like this guy. I wish, nah, hope that he’s training improves him to a grander level.

International Mail Envelope Wallet Update

Some of you might remember when I got my tyvek wallet from dynomighty design back in april of this year. It seemed cool enough. It was plastered it in all the geek catalogs. There were youtube videos about them. Everywhere I looked I saw great reviews. So I bought one.

Well, here I am not two month later and my wallet has ripped.

From day one, my credit cards kept trying to fall out. Yes it was cool. And, yes it made for interesting conversation with the local gas station ladies. But other than that, I feel like it was a waste of money. The thing really needs to be completely redesigned.

So… I needed a wallet. And what is a geocaching tech geek like me to do? Make a new one myself. That’s what.

So I got out the duct tape, hit google search and got busy. I found a few decent walkthoughs on how to make one… but none of them explained the process very well.

After learning how to make “duct tape fabric” out of strips of duct tape I soon realized that you can really make anything you want from duct tape as long as you are creative enough. I quickly quit trying to look at the how tos and just made my own version as I went.

So now I have a pimp ass camo duct tape wallet. I love it. It feels solid. It has everything I need & how I need it. It even sports a place to display my ID without having to remove it.

I’ll post some photos and my own tutorial soon.

Echo Title Alias in Joomla

I am working on a template for a client where I need to pull the title alias into the template for SEO reasons. So with it working as expected, I thought I would share it with you guys and gals.

Is this your social security number 457-55-5462?

Ha Ha Ha… dumb ass.

Remember that LifeLock dillweed that posts his social security number everywhere? Well his name is Todd Davis and he has challanged people for years to try and steal his identity. It looks a few people took him up on his offer.

Davis acknowledged in an interview with The Associated Press that his stunt has led to at least 87 instances in which people have tried to steal his identity, and one succeeded: a guy in Texas who duped an online payday loan operation last year into giving him $500 using Davis’ Social Security number.

And here is something I find even funnier…

LifeLock is also being sued in California by the Experian credit bureau. Experian accuses LifeLock of deceiving consumers about the breadth of its protection and abusing the system for attaching fraud alerts to credit reports.

See, you pay him $10 a month for fraud alerts, and he just sets up the same alert you can do for free with Experian.

Some people are idiots. And any person that is scamming the public our of $10 a month should show up as as an alert themselves. How about Experian sending emails to everyone that is on their alert list and notify them that if they are paying for alerts then they are being ripped off? That might do the trick.

Reminds me of a movie I saw once… where a guy was being sued because he had a company that sold “copper engravings of president lincoln” for $19.99 by mail order. When the person opened the package they found a brand new lincon penny.

I don’t let my daughter or nephew sing this song in my house. They are too young. Sure, it’s catchy… but it makes me feel like the captain of the “starship white trash”. It’s bad enough I live in a trailor.
