America’s Latest Threat To Airlines

So you got your nipples pierced and you are thinking of taking a flight next week… Looks like the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) might consider your new decor a threat.

A Texas woman who said she was forced to remove a nipple ring with pliers in order to board an airplane (Full story on CNN)

My favorite part of this story is the following:

If an alarm does sound, “until that is resolved, we’re not going to let them go through the checkpoint, no matter what they’re wearing or where they’re wearing it,” said TSA spokesman Dwayne Baird in Salt Lake City.

I say “favorite part” with a fair amount of sarcasm. I think it’s a load of crap to treat a person like this. She was willing to take a pat down & was willing to have her breast examined by a female agent. Instead they forced her to remove the nipple rings while male agents snickered at her.

W.T.F. has this freaking world come to?

Oh, and they let her keep her belly ring in. What kind of shit is that? Someone please tell me.
