Road flooded in Jacksonville Arkansas

I took these yesterday. I offered the full-size versions to the local paper, but they didn’t want to use them. Whatever… I thought they’d be great for an article on NOT driving through fast moving water. Anyway… so I’m posting them here since they have no other use. 

Oh, by the way… the “waves” are not from passing cars, those show how fast the water is rushing across the road. It was about 3 inches deep in places. All it takes is 1 inch of fast moving water to push a car off the road. I thought if I waited around I might get some better “action” photos… (ie, some old lady going off in the drink)
